Joy Collins, M.S., CCC-SLP
Joy Collins is a licensed speech language pathologist who works with clients in the greater Denver area. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).
Joy earned her M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University in December 2023. She has gained clinical experience through dedicated work in a variety of clinical and medical settings, from home health to telepractice, with New York Neurogenic Speech-Language Pathology, Powerback Rehabilitation in Denver, as well as KIEVA Speech Therapy, Parker Post Acute, and Square Peg Therapies in Parker, Colorado.
Joy is also an experienced public speaker, technical trainer, and language educator who brings extensive professional expertise to her approach to therapy and coaching for her clients at Joyful Voice Speech Therapy.
In her work, Joy addresses a wide variety of client concerns, including professional speakers experiencing strained voices, people healing from vocal fold pathologies, and individuals recovering from stroke or living with neurological impairments affecting communication and swallowing. She is certified to deliver Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT LOUD) and eLOUD via teletherapy for people living with Parkinson’s or other neurological conditions. Joy also supports the implementation of augmentative and alternative communication, voice banking, and assistive technology as needed.
